Ashland Library Services, an initiative of the Education Ministries, has an extensive collection of books, videos and other resources to help enrich and inform. Check out the most recent additions.

The Library is open to everyone. The Library contains inspirational books, study guides, adult fiction, and Boble resources. Ashland Library has a range of children's collections.

There is a section for "Book Club" books, Large Print, "Grief & Loss", and more.

The Library is self-serve. Just sign the card in the back of the book and leave the car in the basket on the desk in the Library.
News from the Library

Tear Soup, by Pat Schwiebert and Chuck DeKlyen is a book that affirms and educates the bereaved. In the preface we read: "What is true about soup making, is also true about grieving."

In this book Grandy has just suffered a big loss in her life, and she is cooking up her own unique batch of "tear soup." This book gives you a glimpse into Grandy's life as she blends different ingredients into her own grief process. Her tear soup will help to bring her comfort and ultimately help fill the void in her life that was created by her loss.

This is a neat book that has some very good insights and helps for those who are grieving.
