ELECTRONIC CONTRIBUTION SERVICE ALLOWS
AUTOMATIC TRANSFERS FROM MEMBERS’ BANK ACCOUNTS
Ashland has contracted with Vanco Services, LLC, a firm endorsed by the General Conference of the United Methodist Church, to offer automatic transfer as a means of making contributions to Ashland. Many members have expressed
a desire to make pledges and other contributions by automatic transfer, in the same manner as paying utilities and other services.Using the service is entirely optional with each member. As many pledges are paid in equal weekly or monthly
installments, this will allow members to avoid check-writing while also helping the church maintain a regular flow
of income, thus making budgeting more reliable.For those members who desire them, Electronic Offering Cards are available. These indicate that an electronic
payment has been made and can be placed in the offering plate if desired.
