Don Kirkindoll began his work at Ashland on August 13, 2003, and
conducts the adult choir and Ashland Lights, and is responsible
for coordinating the overall music program at Ashland.
Don received his Masters of Music in Choral Conducting from the
University of South Carolina in Spring 2004.
Don received a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance, Cum Laude,
from Centenary College in Louisiana. He served as Youth Choir Director
at Noel Memorial UMC and as Music Director at Ellerbe Road UMC,
both in Shreveport, Louisiana. He was Assistant Conductor and Section
Leader at First United Methodist Church in Bossier City, Louisiana.
Don is an accomplished soloist. He was section leader and soloist
with the Centenary College Choir and most recently was soloist at
First Presbyterian Church in Columbia. Don also performs in the
Colla Voce group in Columbia.
